PFNA Nail Instrument Set
Complete 62-piece instrument set purpose-built for proximal femoral nail antirotation (PFNA) procedures. Includes templates, guide sleeves, drill bits, wrenches, positioning rods, locking pin sleeves and depth gauges — everything required from entry point preparation through distal locking and closure.
Clinical overview
The PFNA Nail Instrument Set provides the complete surgical toolchain for proximal femoral nail antirotation procedures. From initial entry-point preparation and guide-pin placement through proximal reaming, nail insertion, helical blade advancement and distal locking, every step is supported by a dedicated, purpose-matched instrument.
Dedicated guide bars and positioning frames for both short and long nail configurations allow the surgeon to address intertrochanteric, subtrochanteric and reverse-obliquity fracture patterns with a single tray. Integrated soft-tissue protection sleeves and separating devices minimise iatrogenic tissue damage during drilling and locking.
