Important usage notes
- Sterilisation limits: Do not exceed 135°C sterilisation temperature to prevent motor damage. Battery must not be autoclaved.
- Drill bit compatibility: Standard configuration accommodates drill bits up to 6mm diameter. Acetabulum reaming requires specialised drill with higher torque (approximately 300 rpm). Cannulated drilling with nail or K-wire typically performed at approximately 600 rpm.
- Battery management: Remove battery from handpiece after each procedure to prevent automatic discharge and extend battery service life.
- Post-operative cleaning: Clean all components immediately after surgery using appropriate purging techniques to prevent biological material adhesion. Ensure complete drying before sterilisation.
