Important usage notes
Sterilisation protocol
- Do not exceed 135°C sterilisation temperature (155°C for improved type) to prevent motor damage
- Battery must NOT be sterilised or autoclaved — remove before sterilisation
- Ensure battery compartment is completely dry after sterilisation before battery insertion
- Use aseptic battery transfer ring for sterile battery attachment in OR
Battery management
- Remove battery from handpiece immediately after surgery to prevent automatic discharge
- Battery self-discharge will reduce service life if left installed
- Charge battery fully before first use and maintain regular charging schedule
- Battery warranty covers 3 months as consumable item
