Clinical overview
The CapnoVet Hand Held CO2 Monitor is a portable, integrated monitoring solution for veterinary emergency and critical care environments. It provides simultaneous measurement of end-tidal CO2 (ETCO2), oxygen saturation (SpO2), pulse rate, and respiratory rate, enabling clinicians to assess respiratory status during cardiopulmonary resuscitation, guide intubation and extubation decisions, and verify proper endotracheal tube placement. The device alerts to accidental extubation and validates ventilation adequacy during patient transport.
The system features a 5.0-inch colorful TFT LCD display with dual-color LED alarm indicators and integrated loudspeaker for audible alerts. Up to 255 hours of historical data can be recorded and replayed on a connected PC via USB, enabling comprehensive retrospective analysis of respiratory trends and sleep conditions. Professional data analysis software allows unlimited patient record storage, trend visualization, and printer-ready report generation.
