Its 12.1-inch high-resolution color TFT display (manufactured by Sharp, Japan) provides clear visualization of up to 7 simultaneous waveforms, enabling clinicians to assess cardiac rhythm, oxygenation, perfusion, and ventilation at a glance. The device supports both 5-lead and 3-lead ECG configurations with selectable diagnostic, monitoring, and surgical bandwidth modes, accommodating the physiological diversity of large and small animal patients.
Equipped with a rechargeable 7.4V lithium battery (3.7 A/Hr) providing over 180 minutes of continuous operation, the MD9000VET delivers true portability without compromising monitoring fidelity. Integrated data storage includes 72-hour graphic and tabular trends, 480 alarm event recall with 8–32 seconds of corresponding waveform, 500 NIBP measurement records, and 72-hour full-disclosure waveform review. Advanced arrhythmia detection and ST-segment analysis support diagnostic confidence, while oscillometric NIBP with three animal-specific measurement ranges (big, small, very small) ensures accurate hemodynamic assessment across species.
